Steven's Writing Clinic

Hello, everyone.

I am very excited to announce Steven's Writing Clinic, my first ever teaching-based blog program, which provides me a great opportunity to share with my students what I know about English writing, how to tackle the tests like GRE/GMAT/TOEFL/SAT, the college admission process and a great number of jokes which I think can help you relax.

I expect my Writing Clinic to be simple and kind of shabby in the short term. In the long run, I hope I can provide more materials to help you improve your writing.

My students, of TOEFL course or GMAT course, who want to download the documents mentioned in the class should go to the website address indicated (xxxxx.anchoret.com). The blog is full of information which will not be covered during the course and, thus, is not that relevant to the course you take.

在2007年寒假NT015（昭化路）班上，遇到了这样一位女生。在结课的那一天（2月16日，农历小年夜）的课间休息时，她跑到教师休息室，送给我一份我收到过的最令我感动的礼物（在新东方教书的这几年里，我收到过花、嗓子药、杯子、礼品券等很多礼物）——一幅画，一幅倾注着这位学生心血的画。也许她坐得太远，未能看清我的相貌（看清之后可能就很失望了），而且居然在画作中拼错了Harry Potter的名字，可那是最令我感动的礼物，因为那一分入木三分的传神感，因为那一份可以在画作中体会出来的努力。

谢谢你，Ina，非常感谢你的礼物。祝福你，Ina，希望你的这份天赋能很好地帮助你顺利走向美国的大学。

  1、我上课喜欢坐在讲台上讲……还有我喜欢的厚底运动鞋。

  2、在那个班上，由于讲台无法承受我的重量，有一次讲台明显地发出了恐怖的声音，吓得我赶紧跳下来。

  3、那段时间上课实在上得太多了，而且天气反常得厉害，于是喉咙明显不行了，几节课都是硬撑着上的。

  4、也许我上课真的Harry Potter和熊猫说得太多了……看看那只熊猫的眼神，好好玩。

  5、呵呵，可爱的Ina，善于用画笔来表现一切。我觉得非常的传神，也是你将来向美国大学申请时需要展示的一大亮点。谢谢你，Ina。

时间过得真快，一晃又是一年。我又不可避免地老了一岁，大家却慢慢成长了。
